Due to Hurricane Rita, the Pennsylvania convoy that was scheduled to leave September 22 has been postponed until September 29. The convoy will be leaving Thursday, September 29 and returning late Saturday night or early Sunday morning.

Sue Varner, the volunteer who is organizing this convoy, said they have lots of supplies to bring to the shelter but she does have one request. They need a vet tech (or vet) to help once they get to Broken Down Dogs.

If you are a vet tech (or vet) and can join our convoy, they would be really grateful your help. You will be helping animals in need and Project Starfish will pay you a small fee of $100 for your time.

If you live in or near Columbus, Cincinnati, Louisville, Nashville, Memphis, or Jackson, they can pick you up and drop you off.
